The Bible passage known as “The Sermon on the Mount” is a famous and thought-provoking piece of teaching from Jesus. It’s in Matthew’s Gospel.
Sitting down and reading it will take about 15 minutes of your time, and you can download it by clicking here. You can find it on page 8 of the PDF. It starts at Chapter 5 of Matthew’s Gospel.

The Sermon on the Mount brings together many of the most radical, famous and important things Jesus said.
Mahatma Gandhi said:
“If I only had to face the Sermon on the Mount and my own interpretation of it, I would say, ‘Yes, I am a Christian’.”
Do you think Jesus’ demands are unrealistic?
Are they a perfect ideal that nobody is truly expected to follow?
